“Great neighbourhood market. They have most everything I need to prepare my biryani. I also ordered puri's which was great because I didn't have to cook it! The vegetables look fresh, especially the jumbo sweet guavas! Visit them for delicious fresh roti's which is my go to for all three meals.”

Actually what I described to the woman was Dahi Batata Sev Puri and that's exactly what I made mixing the pani puri water with the yogurt was AMAZING. thank you to this store I will be back soon!!!!!!”

“As a working mom, this place in Almaden is closest for my desi groceries. Besides my desire to support a local desi store (so I don't need to trek to Sunnyvale/Cupertino) it also is a one stop shop for produce, chopped veggies, fresh cooked curries, rotis & even marinated meats. It's a no-frills small place but stocks a lot. The welcoming behavior of the owner & staff makes shopping here a pleasant experience”

“Amazing store. One would alway find range of masala(typically used in North Indian cooking, fewer for South Indian). Most likely to find Maggi when other near by stores run out. happy shopping”

“This Indian grocery store has gone through a lot of transformation. Though I used to go there for buying some last minute items, I recently ordered for a gathering. Great customer service and the items that I had ordered were very good. I got Sabudana Vada, poori, aloo bonda and laddoo.”

“I like this place because I get good fresh cut vegetables at a good price. Sometimes I call in for specific vegetables and I get them nicely cut, washed and packed. A huge time saver for a vegetarian like me while cooking evening dinner. Good choice for other Indian groceries as well. Good service with a clean atmosphere, so a bonus star for that.”
